Bikeability Instructor - Wolverhampton
Location: Wolverhampton Civic Centre
Pay: £18.72 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working pattern: Primarily Monday-Friday, school hours
Annual equivalent: £36,017 per annum
The Role
We are looking for enthusiastic, confident and safety-conscious Bikeability Instructors to join a supportive team delivering cycling and road-safety training to children and young people across Wolverhampton.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys cycling and wants to make a positive difference to children's confidence, independence and road safety.
What will you be doing?
- Deliver engaging cycling and road-safety training to children and young people.
- Provide clear, simple and age-appropriate instructions.
- Teach children how to cycle safely and confidently on the road.
- Manage small groups while maintaining a safe and positive environment.
- Identify and manage risks during outdoor training sessions.
- Work closely with schools, colleagues and local communities.
