Jobsworth Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy Fleet Services team within the City of Wolverhampton Council. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician to work on a varied fleet of commercial vehicles, mobile plant and specialist equipment, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs. What you'll be doing: Servicing, inspecting and repairing commercial vehicles and mobile plant Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, transmission, fuel and hydraulic faults Carrying out routine roadworthiness inspections Attending breakdowns and completing on-site repairs Assisting with vehicle recovery Completing job cards, inspection reports and paperwork Working with specialist contractors and vehicle users Refurbishing specialist lifting equipment Supporting apprentices and less experienced technicians What we're looking for: Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician Experience with on-site repairs and vehicle recovery Good knowledge of a broad range of vehicles and equipment City
