Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Poynton
Location: Poynton, Cheshire
Salary: Β£36,000 per annum
Hourly Rate: Β£18.77
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:00

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team based in Poynton, Cheshire.
This is a varied hands-on role, suited to a qualified electrician with strong maintenance experience and a practical approach. You will be responsible for electrical maintenance, testing and inspection, alongside general site maintenance and handyman duties.
Key Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification - essential
- 2391 Testing & Inspection Qualification - essential
- Previous industrial site experience desirable
- General handyman and maintenance experience
- IPAF Licence
- EET / PAT trained
- Good IT skills, including Excel and Word
- Experience with cloud-based safety/maintenance systems; Atlas experience would be advantageous
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Flexible approach to working hours and occasional call-outs
- Welding certification desirable
The Role
You will carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, testing and inspection, fault finding and general site maintenance, including various aspect of site handyman roles. You will also maintain accurate records of work completed and use the site's cloud-based systems to manage maintenance assets and safety documentation.
The successful candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
