Jobsworth Recruitment are currently on the hunt for a Warehouse Operative for our client based in Evesham specialising in the fresh produce industry.
Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Operative to join the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picking/packed/loaded/unloaded and prepared for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Pay and Working Hours
Pay rate £12.71 on a Temp-to-Perm position
Bonuses will be included once you are taken on as a direct employee.
Alternating shift pattern:
Week 1: Sunday to Thursday
Week 2: Sunday to Friday
Times:
Sunday: 6am-Finish
Monday-Friday: 11am-Finish
Duties of the role
- Accurately picking and packing products
- Using a handheld picking device to tick items off as they are picked.
- Load and unload goods from lorries and pallets.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area following the 'Clean as you go' policy.
Requirements of the role
- Previous experience in working in the fresh produce industry is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality assurance.
- A decent level of English is required
