An exciting opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Engineer / Heat Pump Installer to join a well-established and rapidly expanding renewable energy specialist delivering premium residential and commercial projects across the South East.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist skills within one of the UK's fastest-growing industries while benefiting from ongoing manufacturer training and genuine career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install advanced heating, plumbing and mechanical systems to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Assist with the installation of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs), heating systems, cooling systems and Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR)
  • Install high-quality plumbing pipework to exceptional standards
  • Work on premium residential developments and selected commercial projects across the South East
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Mechanical Supervisors to deliver projects on time
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients, contractors and other trades on site
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, risk assessments and company standards

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating (Essential)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating (Desirable)
  • 1-3 years' practical experience in plumbing or mechanical installation
  • Good understanding of domestic plumbing and heating systems
  • Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience installing Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs)
  • Experience with MVHR or renewable heating technologies
  • Knowledge of low-temperature heating systems and hydraulic principles
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
