Section Leader - Licensing Wolverhampton | Temporary Assignment | £22.85 per hour | Monday to Friday, 7:45am - 1:45pm We are currently recruiting for an experienced Section Leader - Licensing to join a busy local authority team in Wolverhampton. This role would suit a strong manager with experience within Licensing, Regulatory Services, Public Protection or a Local Government environment. You will be responsible for leading a team, overseeing licensing processes, ensuring legislative compliance, and supporting the delivery of an efficient and customer-focused service. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operation of the Licensing Section Lead, motivate and support a team of licensing professionals Oversee licence applications, registrations and related administration Ensure compliance with licensing legislation, policies and procedures Prepare reports, correspondence and committee documentation Attend meetings, hearings and court proceedings when required Monitor team performance and drive service improvements Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders What We're Looking For: Previous experience within Licensing, Regulatory Services, Public Protection or Local Government Proven supervisory or management experience Strong knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes Excellent communication and report-writing skills Ability to manage workloads, priorities and deadlines effectively Confident leader with strong organisational and problem-solving skills The Offer: £22.85 per hour Part-time hours offering excellent work-life balance Temporary assignment Opportunity to lead a well-established team within a respected public sector organisation If you're a strong people manager with licensing or regulatory experience and are looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
