Salary: £55,000-£60,000 per annum

Bonus: 10% annual bonus

Working Pattern: Hybrid - 4 days office-based, 1 day working from home

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join a growing team and take ownership of payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and excellent service delivery across the business. This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional with strong Workday payroll experience and a comprehensive understanding of all payroll processes, including legislation, reporting, calculations and compliance.

The Role

  • Managing end-to-end payroll processes using Workday Payroll.
  • Ensuring accurate processing of salaries, deductions, tax, benefits and pay elements.
  • Producing and analysing payroll reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and payroll legislation.
  • Managing payroll calculations, reconciliations and audits.
  • Resolving payroll queries from employees and internal stakeholders.
  • Identifying process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
  • Working closely with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate payroll delivery.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years' payroll experience.
  • Direct experience using Workday Payroll (essential).
  • Strong knowledge across all payroll areas, including:
    • Tax and statutory deductions
    • Pay elements
    • Payroll reporting
    • Calculations and reconciliations
    • Compliance requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
