We're recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-established precision engineering company in Halesowen.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly skilled team producing precision tooling and dies for the forging industry.
This isn't repetitive production machining.
You'll be programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines, manufacturing one-off and small batch components to extremely high standards.
If you're an experienced CNC Machinist looking for a stable, days-only role with overtime available and excellent rates of pay, we'd like to hear from you.
The Role
- Program, set and operate CNC milling machines.
- Manufacture precision tooling and dies from engineering drawings.
- Produce one-off and small batch components to tight tolerances.
- Create and edit programs using Fanuc and Heidenhain controls.
- Select tooling, set machine offsets and prove out new programs.
- Carry out first-off and in-process inspection.
- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
Experience Required
- Previous experience as a CNC Programmer, Setter and Operator.
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience machining precision engineered components.
- Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
Experience on any of the following machines would be advantageous
- Skymaster
- Kiheung
- Correa
- Bridgeport
