Business Development Executive - Freight Services
Location: Halesowen
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum, depending on experience
We are looking for a confident and motivated Business Development Executive to join our growing family-run business in Halesowen.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional looking to develop their career within the freight and logistics industry. Freight experience is not required, as full training and support will be provided.
You’ll be responsible for generating new business, developing customer relationships and growing existing accounts, while working closely with our operations team to ensure a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
- Make outbound calls and follow up new enquiries and quotations.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate with customers.
- Identify upselling and account growth opportunities.
- Promote our range of freight and logistics services.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records using our CRM.
About You
We’re looking for someone with previous sales or business development experience who is confident speaking with customers and has a genuine desire to win new business.
You’ll be proactive, commercially minded and organised, with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Most importantly, you’ll have the ambition to succeed and develop within a growing business.
Freight, logistics or transport experience is not essential — we can teach you the industry.
