We are currently looking for an experienced laser setter operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating laser cutting machines, handling materials, and ensuring parts are prepared and sorted correctly for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Setting and operating laser cutting machines
  • Loading and unloading materials and finished cut parts
  • Inspecting, sorting, and preparing parts for customer orders
  • Ensuring safe handling of materials and maintaining a clean working area
  • Working efficiently as part of a production team

Working Hours

  • Morning Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm
  • Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm – 11:30pm; Friday, 2:00pm – 6:00pm

40 hours per week

Pay Rate

  • Morning shift: £14.00 per hour
  • Afternoon shift: £14.50 per hour
  • Weekly pay available

Requirements

  • Previous experience setting and operating laser cutting machines is essential
  • Counterbalance forklift licence preferred
  • Ability to handle manual lifting of materials where required
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
