Class 2 Refuse Driver - Tuesday to Friday - Temp to Perm

We are recruiting Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join a busy waste and recycling operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who want consistent work, overtime opportunities and the chance to move into a permanent position.

What You'll Be Doing
You’ll be working as part of a crew completing scheduled refuse and recycling collections.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle
- Completing daily vehicle safety checks
- Following planned collection routes
- Working alongside refuse loaders and crew members
- Ensuring collections are completed safely and efficiently
- Reporting any vehicle defects or issues
- Completing required paperwork
- Following all site, road safety and health & safety procedures
- Delivering a professional service when dealing with the public
What You'll Need
- Valid Class 2 / Category C licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A safe and responsible approach to driving
- Good reliability and timekeeping
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in an outdoor and physically active environment
Previous refuse or waste experience would be useful, but it is not essential.
