This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hands-on supervisor who can lead a team, ensure operational targets are achieved, and maintain high standards of accuracy, productivity, and health & safety throughout the night shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the warehouse team during the night shift.
- Allocate workloads to ensure daily operational targets are achieved.
- Oversee the accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Monitor productivity and ensure KPIs are met.
- Maintain stock accuracy and support inventory control processes.
- Ensure all health & safety procedures and company policies are followed.
- Train, coach, and develop warehouse staff.
- Conduct shift handovers and report operational updates to management.
- Resolve any issues that arise during the shift in a timely and professional manner.
- Promote continuous improvement within the warehouse operation.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, or in a similar leadership role.
- Experience working within a fast-paced warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure.
- Good IT skills and experience using warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- A good understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures.
