Experienced Power Steering Technician WANTED!! Birmingham
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Power Steering Technician to join their established team in Birmingham.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with genuine, hands-on experience within the power steering industry who is looking for a stable, long-term position with an established business.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of both manual and PAS (Power Assisted Steering) units and will be confident stripping, inspecting, rebuilding and building steering units to a high standard.
Please note: experience is essential for this position. This is not a trainee role.
The Role
As a Power Steering Technician, you will be responsible for working on a range of steering units, ensuring they are correctly inspected, repaired and rebuilt to the required quality standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Stripping and inspecting manual steering units
- Stripping and inspecting PAS (Power Assisted Steering) units
- Rebuilding manual steering racks and steering units
