Customer Service Advisor - Logistics

Salary: £30,#removed# per annum
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Jobsworth Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a successful and growing logistics business based in Birmingham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced customer service professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is confident dealing with customers, transport teams and operational queries.
The Role
You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service throughout the delivery process, keeping customers updated and working closely with the transport and operations teams to resolve any issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries by phone and email.
- Deal with delivery and collection queries.
- Track consignments and provide customers with accurate updates.
- Liaise with drivers, depots and transport partners.
- Identify and resolve delivery issues and delays.
- Proactively communicate with customers regarding any changes or problems.
- Update internal systems and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure a high level of customer service.
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide a professional service at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Confident telephone and email communication skills.
- Good IT and administration skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
- A positive, professional and customer-focused approach.
- Logistics or transport experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
