We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary or secondary school in South West London. The Role:
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning delays
- Providing 1:1 or small group support in and out of the classroom
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning and care
- Helping pupils access the curriculum and develop social/emotional skills
- Assisting with EHCP targets, behaviour plans, and progress tracking
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting
- A calm, nurturing, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine interest in supporting children with diverse needs
- Relevant qualifications or training (e.g., CACHE, Team Teach, PECS, Makaton) are a bonus but not essential
