SEN Teacher (Maths & Science) – Stockport
Permanent Position – Salary: £26,000 – £33,000 (dependent on experience)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join a specialist provision in Stockport, focusing on both Maths and Science. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, helping students with additional needs to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Maths and Science to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Tailor lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each student.

Create an inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and progress.

Work collaboratively with support staff and other educators to provide holistic support to students.

Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to parents and carers.

Contribute to the development of the school\’s SEN provision and participate in professional development.
Essential Criteria:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching Maths and Science at KS3/KS4 level.

Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and inclusive education.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
