SEN Teacher (Maths & Science) – Stockport
Permanent Position – Salary: £26,000 – £33,000 (dependent on experience)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join a specialist provision in Stockport, focusing on both Maths and Science. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, helping students with additional needs to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Maths and Science to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

  • Tailor lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each student.

  • Create an inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and progress.

  • Work collaboratively with support staff and other educators to provide holistic support to students.

  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to parents and carers.

  • Contribute to the development of the school\’s SEN provision and participate in professional development.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching Maths and Science at KS3/KS4 level.

  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and inclusive education.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

  • A passion for supporting students in their academic and personal development.
