We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and committed Year 1 Teacher to join our welcoming infant school community from September. Our small village infant school caters for children aged 4-7 and prides itself on creating a nurturing, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every child is encouraged to thrive. Located in the heart of a busy and vibrant village, our school offers a rich curriculum alongside a wide range of extracurricular opportunities. We are proud to offer an engaging Forest School programme led by two fully trained Forest School leaders. We are also committed to supporting staff development and offer ongoing professional training opportunities for all teachers. Salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on experience and qualifications.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

  • Support safeguarding and promote pupil wellbeing at all times

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A recognised teaching degree
  • Experience or knowledge of teaching within Key Stage 1
  • Strong classroom management skills
