This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping pupils overcome challenges, build confidence, and reach their full potential in a supportive learning environment.
About the Role:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with additional learning needs
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
- Encourage pupils' independence, confidence, and participation in class activities
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support tailored learning plans
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience supporting children or young people (school-based experience preferred)
- A compassionate, patient, and encouraging approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
- Passionate about helping every child succeed
