I'm currently looking for Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Medway, including Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham and the surrounding areas.
Whether you already have experience as a Cover Supervisor, have worked within education, or have experience supporting young people and are looking to take the next step into a school environment, I'd be happy to speak with you.

?? About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into the classroom when the usual teacher is absent, ensuring pupils remain engaged and learning continues.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supervising pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Supporting pupils with their work where required
- Following individual school policies and procedures
- Providing feedback to teaching staff at the end of lessons
?? About You
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Confidence managing groups within a classroom environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, adaptable and professional approach
- Good behaviour management skills
- A genuine interest in supporting young people within education
Previous school experience is beneficial, but I'm also interested in speaking with candidates from youth work, coaching, tutoring, mentoring or similar backgrounds.
