Simply Education are currently recruiting dedicated Year 5 Class Teachers to support welcoming and supportive primary schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach within Upper Key Stage 2, supporting pupils at a crucial stage in their learning journey as they prepare for the transition into Year 6. Whether you are looking for flexible day-to-day supply, part-time work, or a long-term teaching role, we have opportunities to suit your availability and career goals.
Your role will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons for a Year 5 class (for long-term roles)
- Covering pre-planned lessons for day-to-day and short-term assignments
- Supporting pupil progress in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment
- Assessing and monitoring pupil development
- Working collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders
We are looking for teachers who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- ECTs are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Are adaptable, reliable, and committed to high-quality teaching
