Are you looking for a new role where you can make a difference? We are working with a new school who are seeking a dedicated, caring and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) working directly with pupils to support their learning, communication, and emotional development. Children from age 7 to 18 attend this school with a range of complex needs including autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, speech, language and communication difficulties, and associated challenging behaviour.

This is an excellent opportunity for those with mainstream school experience who are looking to transition into a SEND setting. Some pupils present with complex behaviours associated with their additional needs, so patience, resilience, and a positive approach are essential.
Key Duties- Support pupils with MLD/SLD/ASD/PMLD in class, one-to-one, and in small groups as a Teaching Assistant.
- Assist with tailored learning programmes and daily routines.
- Support behaviour management while promoting independence and confidence.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
