Simply Education is seeking an exceptional Head Teacher to join an innovative Alternative Provision in Wolverhampton, supporting students from Year 7 through Year 11. This opportunity is ideal for a strong and compassionate leader who believes every young person deserves opportunity, structure and inspiration. Role Overview

As Head Teacher, you will:

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Drive the strategic development and long-term direction of the provision.
    • Shape and embed a powerful culture aligned with shared values and aspirations.
    • Lead the development of an ambitious curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
    • Inspire staff through clear vision, high expectations and visible leadership.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Take responsibility for day-to-day leadership and ensure the smooth running of the provision.
    • Secure outstanding teaching, targeted intervention and exceptional learning experiences.
    • Raise attainment and progress particularly in English, Maths and personal development.
    • Oversee high-quality self-evaluation and deliver effective improvement planning.
  • People & Culture
    • Lead, develop and empower staff, deploying people and resources effectively.
    • Build a culture where students and staff feel safe, respected and able to flourish.
    • Promote equal opportunities and champion inclusion at every level.
  • Safeguarding & Governance
    • Ensure safeguarding is rigorous, proactive and deeply embedded across the provision.
    • Maintain strong multi-agency partnerships to support the most vulnerable learners.
    • Report to governance structures in line with the annual cycle.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Use evidence, evaluation and data to drive standards and innovation.
    • Identify priorities, set ambitious goals and monitor progress with precision.
