We are currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher on behalf of a supportive primary school. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated teacher who is confident teaching Upper Key Stage 2 and supporting pupils through a crucial stage of their education, including SATs preparation.

The Role:

Teaching a Year 6 class in line with the National Curriculum
Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons
Preparing pupils for KS2 SATs and supporting academic progress
Assessing, tracking and reporting pupil attainment and progress
Providing pastoral support and promoting pupil well being
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and senior leadersThe Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (ECTs welcome, with support)
Has experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
Has a strong understanding of KS2 curriculum and SATs requirements
Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Holds or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service
