Simply Education is proud to be working in partnership with a new SEMH secondary school in Uttoxeter, opening in April, to recruit an English Teacher. This role involves teaching GCSE English and Functional Skills English to pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, within a supportive and structured environment that focuses on re-engagement and personal development.
About the role- Teaching English at GCSE and Functional Skills level
- Adapting lessons to meet a range of emotional and behavioural needs
- Building positive, consistent relationships with pupils
- Supporting both academic progress and emotional wellbeing
- Working closely with SEND and pastoral teams
