Role: Teaching Assistant
Salary: £21,000 to £23,000 per annum

About the school:
The school has small class sizes, with no more than 8 pupils per class. Pupils are provided with two pathways: a GCSE route or a functional skills route. Additionally, the school offers vocational qualifications via the Personal Development Programme. The setting caters for students aged 9-16 who have an EHCP in place. Their approach to learning is child-centered, focusing on ensuring all students are prepared with a mix of qualifications and life skills. Students in this setting have communication and behavioral challenges associated with Autism.
The school is seeking a Teaching Assistant who is compassionate, hardworking, organized, and knowledgeable. Since students finish earlier than in mainstream schools, time can be spent on planning at the end of each school day.
Key requirements for the Teaching Assistant:
