We're looking for engaging, energetic and adaptable teachers to work in a vibrant language school setting in Cambridge throughout July, August and September. If you love meeting new people, thrive in an international environment and enjoy making learning fun, this could be the perfect summer opportunity.
Working with students aged approximately 16 to 21, you'll deliver interactive English lessons that encourage communication, build confidence and create memorable learning experiences.
The Role
- Deliver engaging English language lessons to young adult learners
- Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
- Encourage participation through interactive activities and discussion
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet varying language abilities
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure students have a positive educational experience
We're Looking For
- Applications are welcomed from candidates who hold one or more of the following:
- A recognised ELT/TESOL qualification (such as CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), particularly with English, Modern Languages or Primary specialisms
- A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL), ESOL or within secondary or further education settings
- A passion for working with international young adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability during July, August and September
