Simply Education are working closely with a number of welcoming primary schools in the Sittingbourne area who are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs. These roles can be on a day-to-day supply, short-term or longer-term basis, depending on your availability and preferences. You may be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or working within small groups, helping to create a calm, positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH
- Support learning both in and out of the classroom
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Help pupils with emotional regulation and engagement
- Promote positive behaviour and inclusion
