About the Opportunity:
We are recruiting multiple SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of specialist needs, including ADHD, Autism (ASD), Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH), and Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). These positions are ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
Available Roles:
- ADHD Support
- Helping pupils with attention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity needs
- Supporting routines, focus strategies, and classroom engagement
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- ASD Support
- Using structured routines, visual supports, and communication strategies
- Supporting sensory needs and low-arousal approaches
- Helping pupils build independence and confidence
- SEMH Support
- Supporting pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional needs
- Building trust and resilience through consistent, calm support
- Working with pastoral and behaviour teams to implement strategies
- PMLD Support
- Delivering sensory-based learning and therapeutic activities
- Supporting with mobility, positioning, feeding, and personal care (where required)
- Working alongside teachers, therapists, and medical professionals
What We're Looking For:
- Experience supporting children with SEND (advantageous but not essential)
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and use initiative
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
- Willingness to undergo safeguarding and relevant training
