A lovely junior school in a village just outside of Kettering are currently seeking a SEN (special educational needs) Teaching Assistant to join their team from April until July. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support children with complex needs in their learning. The successful teaching assistant will have previous experience working in a special educational need setting and are compassionate, engaging and nurturing in all that they do. The special education needs assistant will provide one to one support with a child who is significantly behind his peers academically so support will be needed in order to break down the wider task into smaller chunks for him to comprehend and understand. This role is 5 days a week and will be until the end of the academic year.
