A dynamic primary school in Northamptonshire is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality education to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Role Responsibilities As an SEN Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to students with a range of SEN, including ASD, SEMH, and SLCN. Develop and implement IEPs and BSPs in collaboration with the SENCO and other professionals. Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and external agencies. Provide guidance and support to Teaching Assistants working with SEN students. Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment. Engage with parents and carers to support student development. Candidate Requirements To be considered for this role, you should have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching students with SEN in a mainstream school setting. Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practices. Strong communication and leadership skills. An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). A commitment to continuous professional development.
