The Role You'll be working with children aged 2-5 years, helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can learn, play and develop. Your day will include: Supporting children's learning and development through play and engaging activities. Providing high-quality care for children aged 2-5. Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development. Helping children build confidence, independence and positive relationships. Following the EYFS framework and supporting children's individual learning needs. Creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment. Working closely with colleagues and supporting the wider nursery team. Communicating positively with parents and carers. Supporting daily routines including meals, toileting, dressing and transitions. Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and child welfare. About You We're looking for someone who is: Caring, patient and enthusiastic. Passionate about working with children. Reliable and committed to a permanent role. A confident communicator and team player. Able to build strong, positive relationships with children. Familiar with the EYFS and early childhood development.A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare/Early Years is required, with a Level 3 qualification preferred. Relevant qualifications may include CACHE, NCFE, NVQ or other recognised Early Years/Childcare qualifications. Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable.
