The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will manage the entire recruitment process, from winning new business and developing client relationships to sourcing exceptional candidates and securing successful placements. You will be responsible for building your own desk, growing your client portfolio, and becoming a specialist within your chosen market sector.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Business Development
    • Identifying and approaching prospective clients across Kent and the South East.
    • Developing new business opportunities through networking, referrals, marketing campaigns, and outbound sales activity.
    • Conducting client meetings to understand hiring needs and business objectives.
    • Negotiating recruitment terms and securing new vacancies.
  • Candidate Management
    • Sourcing high-quality candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and headhunting.
    • Conducting interviews and candidate assessments.
    • Building and maintaining a strong talent pipeline for current and future opportunities.
    • Providing career guidance, interview preparation, and constructive feedback.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Acting as a trusted recruitment partner to clients.
    • Providing market insights, salary benchmarking, and recruitment advice.
    • Managing client expectations and ensuring a high level of service throughout the recruitment process.
    • Building long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Recruitment Delivery
    • Writing engaging job advertisements and marketing campaigns.
    • Coordinating interviews and managing recruitment timelines.
    • Negotiating offers and managing the placement process through to successful onboarding.
    • Maintaining accurate records and activity using our CRM and recruitment systems.
