Simply Education is working with a number of primary schools seeking Long-Term Primary Teachers to join them for extended placements. These roles offer consistency, structure, and the opportunity to become a valued member of the school team without committing to a permanent contract. Positions are available across KS1 and KS2, starting this term and into Easter and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
- Create a positive, inclusive and structured learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff and leadership
- Attend relevant meetings and contribute to school life
Requirements
- QTS with recent primary teaching experience
- Strong curriculum knowledge in KS1 or KS2
- Ability to commit to the duration of the placement
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
