We are currently recruiting for a PE teacher to join our team on a full-time basis You will be teaching PE to both KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will be expected to teach both practical and theoretical lessons, including supporting students with their chosen sports for end of year GCSE examinations.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher who can pass on their passion for sports to their students and keep them engaged and motivated throughout.
The school
The school is a secondary school based in the outer Northamptonshire. You will be joining a supportive team of other PE teachers in order to deliver lessons to all year groups from year 7 to 11. The school are happy to accept applications from both well experienced teachers and ECT’s who are looking to develop their skillset.
Requirements and responsbilities
-QTS or equivalent
-Previous experience teaching PE
-To ensure that the safety and welfare of all students is given priority at all times
-To support the ethos of the school at all times and demonstrate high standards of personal and professional conduct whilst at work and otherwise
-To ensure an appropriate individual response to whole school priorities
-To support the personal and social development of students within the school
-To engage actively in the Performance Management Review Process
-To implement all school policies
-To attend all directed time meetings
-To pay due regard to Health and Safety in respect of all members of the school community and report matters which compromise this, appropriately.

You will need:
-An Enhanced DBS on the update service
-Bachelor\’s degree in Science or related field
-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
