Simply Education are working in partnership with a well-established and welcoming nursery to recruit a Deputy Manager for a full-time, permanent position. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the day-to-day running of a busy nursery.
The Role:
- Support the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the setting
- Lead and motivate the nursery team to deliver outstanding care and education
- Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
- Act as a role model for best practice in early years
- Support staff development, supervision, and mentoring
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
- Previous experience in a senior or leadership role within a nursery setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A passionate, proactive, and supportive leadership style
