This SEND School is a successful specialist SEND school for boys aged 8-18 with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). They are seeking a professional, welcoming and highly organised Receptionist/Administrator to become an important part of our administrative team and the first point of contact for our school community.
About the Role
- Warmly greeting visitors, families, pupils and staff, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed
- Managing incoming calls, emails, post and enquiries
- Supporting attendance processes and maintaining accurate pupil records
- Providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and wider staff
- Keeping the reception and office areas organised and welcoming
- Assisting with school events, meetings and general office duties
- Handling confidential information with care and professionalism
About You
- Friendly, approachable and confident in dealing with a wide range of people
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Experience as an administrator or receptionist
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in using IT systems and office software
- Calm, resilient and a strong team player
- Committed to supporting the ethos of a specialist SEND school
- Experience in a school office or SEND environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
