We are supporting a busy, diverse special educational needs school located in central Northampton who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Child Practitioner to join their supportive and nurturing school. The school specialises in working with children who have highly complex additional needs, including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

SEN Child Practitioner Responsibilities

  • Support children on a 1:1 and small-group basis, tailoring support to individual needs
  • Assist pupils with emotional regulation, communication, learning and daily routines
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals to deliver personalised support plans
  • Help create a safe, structured and positive learning environment
  • Support children with behaviour management strategies using a calm and empathetic approach
