Simply Education is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Stockport from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to help students broaden their cultural horizons and develop essential language skills in French, Spanish, or German.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in one or more modern foreign languages (French, Spanish, German) across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan and deliver engaging and culturally enriching content that develops students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Prepare pupils for internal assessments and external examinations in line with national curriculum standards.
- Encourage a love of languages and promote international awareness and understanding.
- Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and extracurricular initiatives such as language clubs or trips abroad.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
- Specialism in Modern Foreign Languages with secure subject knowledge in French, Spanish, or German.
- Experience teaching MFL at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A passion for languages, culture, and education.
- Suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.
