About the Nursery
Private day nursery in Middlewich welcoming children from birth to five years with spacious rooms, a large secure outdoor area and a strong focus on helping every child learn, develop and thrive.
Opportunities
- Two permanent Room Leader positions are available:
- Baby Room Leader
- 2‑3‑Year‑Old Room Leader
Both roles offer:
- £30,056 per annum
- 40 hours per week (over 4 or 5 days)
- Monday to Friday
- Shifts worked between 7:00am and 6:00pm
- Permanent employment
- A supportive and established nursery team

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification. You should have previous experience working within a nursery or early‑years setting, ideally in the relevant age group. Previous Room Leader experience would be beneficial, although experienced Level 3 practitioners who are ready to take the next step into leadership will also be considered.
Requirements include:
- A strong understanding of the EYFS
- Good knowledge of child development and developmental milestones
- Experience completing observations, assessments and next‑step planning
- The confidence to lead and support other nursery practitioners
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child welfare
- The ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Your Role
As a Nursery Room Leader, you will:
- Take responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of your room
- Lead, motivate and support the practitioners within your team
- Ensure children receive safe, nurturing and high‑quality care
- Plan and oversee engaging activities in line with the EYFS
- Monitor observations, assessments and developmental records
- Support staff with planning, Key Person responsibilities and professional development
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers
- Maintain a stimulating, inclusive and well‑organised learning environment
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery procedures are followed consistently
