Simply Education is seeking a passionate and ambitious MFL Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in the Holmes Chapel area. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic languages specialist who is committed to delivering high‑quality teaching and inspiring pupils to develop linguistic confidence and cultural awareness across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, well‑structured MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Teach one or more languages (French/Spanish/German) depending on specialism.
- Use effective differentiation and assessment for learning to support progress.
- Promote a passion for languages, global citizenship, and cross‑cultural understanding.
- Implement strong behaviour for learning strategies to maintain a positive classroom climate.
- Support students with speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, enrichment activities, and whole‑school initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in one or more modern foreign languages.
- Ability to deliver high‑impact lessons that engage and challenge learners.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
- A reflective and committed practitioner who strives for continuous improvement.
- Experience teaching MFL in a UK secondary school (preferred).
