Simply Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Manchester that is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join their team from September on a full-time, long-term supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Science specialist to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, scientific thinking, and a love of learning. The position is expected to continue for the academic year and offers stability within a supportive school environment.

The Role
  • Full-time, long-term supply position

  • Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons
  • Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress
  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement
  • Working collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills
  • A passion for inspiring young people and raising attainment
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
