About the Role
Simply Education are working closely with several welcoming primary and SEN schools in Maidstone who are looking for compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys making a real difference in the classroom, whether that’s through 1:1 support or working with small groups. We have opportunities available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, depending on your experience and preferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Providing 1:1 or small group support tailored to individual needs
- Helping to create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN (school-based preferred)
- A patient, caring and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
