Are you a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity across Medway? I'm currently expanding my network of Teaching Assistants for a range of day-to-day, short-term and longer-term opportunities across mainstream secondary schools and specialist SEN settings throughout Medway and the surrounding areas. About You

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or within small groups
  • Confidence supporting a range of additional learning needs
  • Experience with autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour or complex needs
  • A patient, compassionate and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to support pupils both academically and pastorally
  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside teaching and pastoral staff to support pupils with their learning, confidence and development. Depending on the setting, this could involve 1:1 support, small-group interventions, classroom support and helping pupils manage additional learning or behavioural needs.
