Are you a skilled BSL (British Sign Language) Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in education? We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate TA to support students with hearing impairments and additional learning needs in a welcoming and inclusive school based in Wandsworth.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils using British Sign Language (BSL)
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils with communication and social development
- Collaborate with SENCO and teaching staff to meet individual learning goals
Requirements:
- BSL Level 3 qualification (essential)
- Experience supporting students with hearing impairments or SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, patient, and caring approach
- Current DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
