Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, shift-based between 7:00am - 6:00pm

Simply Education are working in partnership with a well-established and welcoming nursery to recruit a Deputy Manager for a full-time, permanent position. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the day-to-day running of a busy nursery.

The Role:

  • Support the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the setting
  • Lead and motivate the nursery team to deliver outstanding care and education
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
  • Act as a role model for best practice in early years
  • Support staff development, supervision, and mentoring
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
  • Previous experience in a senior or leadership role within a nursery setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A passionate, proactive, and supportive leadership style
