Are you a passionate Early Years Practitioner or Childcare Practitioner looking for a permanent opportunity where you can make a real difference to children's early development?

Simply Education is working with a welcoming nursery in Saxilby, Lincoln, who are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Childcare Practitioner to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and wants to be part of a supportive nursery environment where children are at the heart of everything they do.

The Role

You’ll be working with children aged 2-5 years, helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can learn, play and develop.

Your day will include:

  • Supporting children's learning and development through play and engaging activities.
  • Providing high-quality care for children aged 2-5.
  • Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development.
  • Helping children build confidence, independence and positive relationships.
  • Following the EYFS framework and supporting children's individual learning needs.
  • Creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment.
  • Working closely with colleagues and supporting the wider nursery team.
  • Communicating positively with parents and carers.
  • Supporting daily routines including meals, toileting, dressing and transitions.
  • Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and child welfare.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Caring, patient and enthusiastic.
  • P
  • Passionate about working with children.
  • Reliable and committed to a permanent role.
  • A confident communicator and team player.
  • Able to build strong, positive relationships with children.
  • Familiar with the EYFS and early childhood development.
  • A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare/Early Years is required, with a Level 3 qualification preferred.

Relevant qualifications may include CACHE, NCFE, NVQ or other recognised Early Years/Childcare qualifications.

Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable.
