Are you a passionate Secondary SEN Maths Teacher looking for more flexibility, variety and the freedom to choose when you work?
I'm currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join a supportive setting from September to December, with the role ideally working 3 days per week.
About the Role
- Teach Maths up to GCSE level
- Teach Year 10 & 11 groups of approximately 8-10 students
- Teach KS3 groups of approximately 4-8 students
- Support students with SEN and behavioural difficulties
- Plan and deliver engaging, appropriately differentiated lessons
- Complete planning and marking as required
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual student needs
- Create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment
- Support students to build confidence and make progress
About You
- QTS is desirable; candidates without QTS but with relevant Maths teaching experience and confidence working in this type of role will also be considered
- Experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level - essential
- Previous experience working with students with SEN and behavioural difficulties - essential
- Confident managing challenging behaviour
- Patient, adaptable and resilient
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passionate about supporting students to achieve their potential
- Committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
