Are you a dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and challenging behaviour? We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a KS2 year group in Berkhamsted on a long-term contract.
Experience
- Proven ability to work effectively with children with a range of Special Educational Needs, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- Confidence in managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours in a calm and supportive manner.
- Experience in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and supporting the differentiation of tasks to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and external professionals to provide holistic support and ensure the overall well-being of the students.
