We are looking for an experienced class teacher to join our team for a KS2 maternity cover contract.
Class Teacher – Key Stage 2 (to cover Maternity Leave - full time)
Payscale: Main Pay Scale
To be successful in this role, you will ideally:
- Have experience of working as a class teacher in at least one other primary setting
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
- Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
- Be able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
- Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative
- Be able to work flexibly and professionally
Qualifications Needed:
- A recognized teaching qualification
- Experience in teaching Reception/Year 1 or early years education
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and early years foundation stage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
