Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Primary Teacher with a specialisation in managing challenging behaviour to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of creating and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment while effectively addressing and managing challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of all students.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to create a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
  • Develop and maintain individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with behavioural needs.
  • Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and external professionals to support student development.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities focused on behaviour management and inclusive education.
  • Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and resilience within the classroom and school community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a focus on managing challenging behaviour.
  • Strong knowledge of behaviour management techniques and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for inclusive education.
